I’m not sure. But I’ve got the words on this paper. That will help me if I can’t remember all the words.

Grandmother

Good. It’s a good song. I’m sure the children will enjoy singing it. I think it’s better than the clothes song. It’s a very funny song. It always makes people laugh.

Grandfather

All right. I’ll get everybody ready. How many children are there?

Grandmother

Oh, I’m not sure. Nineteen or twenty I think. Pat counted them all before, but I think some of them went outside.

Grandfather

Really? That many? How did they all come here?

Grandmother

Some of them came by car. Some of them came on their bicycles, and some of them walked here.

Grandfather

I see. Do you think I should take off my hat before I teach them the song?

Grandmother

Yes. Take it off. It’s a silly hat, and you shouldn’t wear hats in the house. I’m always telling you not to keep your hat on when you are inside! Sometimes, you are so silly!

Grandfather

Yes, I know. Here you are – please put it on the table for me.

Grandmother

All right. Pass it over here. And remember to take the paper with the words of the song on it. If you don’t have that, you won’t get the words right.

Grandfather

Oh yes, I can’t teach the song without that. All right children! Come into the middle of the room and make a circle around me!
