Function The modal 會 can also refer to the likelihood of an event, e.g.,

1 明天大概會下雨。

Míngtiān dàgài huì xiàyǔ.

It will probably rain tomorrow.

2 新出來的手機一定會漲價。

Xīn chūlái de shǒujī yídìng huì zhǎngjià.

Newly released cell phones will definitely cost more.

3 坐飛機會比開車快很多。

Zuò fēijī huì bǐ kāi chē kuài hěn duō.

Taking a plane will be much faster than driving.
