nǐmen tīngshuō le ma? shìchǎng bù hǎiguī Zhào Jiékè de yáng wénpíng shì jiǎde!

Have you heard? Jack Zhao from the marketing department's foreign diploma is fake!

zhēnde ma? tā bùshì Dōngtàipíngyáng dàxué de EMBA ma?

Really? Didn't he get his EMBA at Eastern Pacific University?

wǒ zǎo jiù shuōguò le, shénme Dōngtàipíngyáng dàxué, kěndìng shì gè yějīdàxué.

I called it - Eastern Pacific? That's definitely one of those diploma mills.

lián yějīdàxué dōu bùshì, jùshuō gēnběn jiù méi shénme Dōngtàipíngyáng dàxué.

It's not even a diploma mill. I heard there's no such thing as Eastern Pacific University.

ò? nándào suǒwèi de Dōngtàipíngyáng dàxué shì Měiguó de yī gè bànzhèng jīgòu?

Huh? What if this so-called Eastern Pacific is a just an American forgery organization?

zhè ge Zhào Jiékè yě tài niú le. kào zhè yī zhǐ jiǎ yáng wénpíng bù zhīdào hūyou le duōshao rén.

This Jack Zhao is impressive. I wonder how many people he tricked with his fake foreign degree.

zhǐyào dǎnzi dà shěde huāqián, bié shuō nàxiē yějīdàxué, jiùshì Hāfó de bìyèzhèng yě néng mǎi lai. kělián wǒmen shíjǐ nián hánchuāngkǔdú, biérén yòng jǐ ge chòuqián jiù gǎodìng le.

As long as you've got the guts and you're willing to spend some money - forget about those diploma mills, you can even get a graduation certificate from Harvard. Poor us, pushing through 10 odd years of studies, yet some other people just spend a bit of dirty money and they're done.

āi, rénjiā Zhào Jiékè yě shì yǒu nénglì de, yèjì zài nàr bǎizhe ne! huànle hǎojǐ jiā dà gōngsī le, dào nǎr dōu chīdekāi. dàn xuélì zàojiǎ, zǒngguī shì jiàn jiànbudé rén de shìr.

The guy does have talent though. Everyone knows about his accomplishments. He's been to more than a few big companies and he's popular wherever he goes. A fake diploma though - that's disgraceful either way.

zhè niántou zàojiǎ de duōleqùle. rénmen zhěngtiān rāngzhe yào zhòng nénglì bù zhòng xuélì, kě yàoshì méiyǒu yī zhǐ wénpíng, gēnběn jiù tàbujìn gōngsī de ménkǎn.

These days forgeries are all over the place. Everyone is always talking about placing importance on ability, not education - but if you don't have that diploma, there's no way you'll be able to get a foot in the door at any company.

jiùshì, xuélì shǒuxiān shì yī kuài qiāoménzhuān. háiyǒu shēngzhí shénme de, nǎ yīyàng lídeliǎo xuélì.

That's right. Before anything else, your education is a stepping stone. And even as for promotions and all that, who can do without an education?

nàxiē zhèngfǔ gāoguān de xuélì duōbàn yě shì jiǎde. dòngbudòng jiù shénme shénme bóshì de, hěn duō dōu shì zàizhí jìnxiū de, tāmen yǒu nàme duō shíjiān gōngdú bóshì xuéwèi ma? guójiā yàoshì cóngshàngdàoxià chá yīxià, bǎozhǔn yǒu yīdàpī guānyuán luòmǎ.

Most of those high-level officials' education experience is fake too. Every single one seems to have a doctorate, but a lot of them got it while on the job. Do they really have that much time to work seriously on a doctorate? If the country did a full-scale examination, I guarantee a ton of high-level officials would fall.

bùguǎn dùzi lǐ yǒuméiyǒu huò, gāoxuélì zǒngshì dǐng piàoliang de màozi, rénrén dōu xǐhuan dài.

Regardless of whether or not you have any experience or ability, a high level of education puts you on the top of the list. Everyone wants that.

bù zhīdào gōngsī zěnme chǔlǐ Zhào Jiékè? zhè kěshì yánzhòng de chéngxìn wèntí.

I wonder how the company will handle him? This is a serious honesty and trust issue.

hái néng zěnme chǔlǐ, dàbùliǎo jiào tā juǎn pūgài zǒurén.

What can they really do? The worst they can do is have him fired.
