B: 我願率少數人馬先與敵軍交鋒，漸漸退入峽谷。敵軍定以為我軍必敗。待敵軍放鬆警惕，大將軍再率精銳部隊進攻，這樣定可以少勝多。
wǒ yuàn shuài shǎoshù rénmǎ xiān yǔ dí jūn jiāofēng, jiànjiàn tuì rù xiágǔ. díjūn dìng yǐwéi wǒjūn bì bài. dài dí jūn fàngsōng jǐngtì, dàjiāngjūn zài shuài jīngruì bùduì jìngōng, zhèyàng dìng kě yǐshǎoshèngduō.
I wish to first lead a small number of troops and engage the enemy, all while slowly retreating into the gorge. The enemy will certainly and mistakenly believe that our defeat is imminent. When they have let their guard down, the General will lead a group of elite soldiers in for an assault. In this way, we can surely be victorious against many although we're only a few.
C: 花將軍果然足智多謀，就這麼辦吧！
Huā jiāngjūn guǒrán zúzhìduōmóu, jiù zhème bàn ba!
General Hua is truly resourceful. We'll do it this way!

B: 木蘭不願為官。木蘭從軍十二年，現在只想回家鄉伺候雙親。請皇上恕罪！
Mùlán bù yuàn wéi guān. Mùlán cóngjūn shí èr nián, xiànzài zhǐ xiǎng huí jiāxiāng cìhòu shuāngqīn. qǐng huángshàng shùzuì!
