A: 不是。我們的組織和政府沒有關係，有自己的獨立性，是一種社會公益事業。

A: 也不是，我們是非營利機構，算是介於政府與公司之間的組織吧。

B: 我還是不太明白，那你們平時做點什麼事呢？

I still don't really understand. So, what kind of things does your organization usually do?
A: 我在的機構叫中國扶貧基金會，平時主要的職責是援助貧困地區的弱勢群體，以及對海內外的捐贈基金進行管理。最近我們在搞一個活動，是去廣西的貧困山區，幫助那邊普及電腦。

The organization I'm at is called the, “China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation”. Its usual responsibilities are to support disadvantaged communities in poor areas, as well as managing donations from all over the world. Recently, we've been putting together an activity in which we'll go to an impoverished mountainous region in Guangxi to help with the dissemination of computers.
B: 哦，是這樣。那你們的收入高嗎？

Oh, it's like that then. So, are your incomes high?
A: 我們都是志願者，沒有正式的薪水，但有補貼。不過我平時會給一些雜誌和報社撰稿，談一些自己在組織裡的感想和有趣的事，所以主要收入還是來自於稿費。

We're all volunteers. We don't have an official salary; we have subsidies. But, I usually write articles for magazines and newspapers in which I discuss some of my thoughts and some of the interesting experiences I've had inside the organization. So, my chief income comes from royalties.
