Oh wow, boss, what have you drawn here?

B:   第一次畫，比較亂。你有什麼不明白的就問我。

dì yī cì huà, bǐjiào luàn. nǐ yǒu shénme bù míngbái de jiù wèn wǒ.

It's the first time I've drawn one. It's pretty messy. If there's anything you don't understand, just ask.

C:   廚房這裡有個問題。灶臺怎麼不在抽油煙機下面？

chúfáng zhèlǐ yǒu ge wèntí. zàotái zěnme bù zài chōuyóuyānjī xiàmian?

There's a problem here with the kitchen. Why aren't the burners underneath the range hood?

B:   如果放在正下方的話，微波爐和電飯煲就沒地方放了。我們的檯面比較小。

rúguǒ fàng zài zhèngxiàfāng dehuà, wēibōlú hé diànfànbāo jiù méi dìfang fàng le. wǒmen de táimiàn bǐjiào xiǎo.

If we put them right underneath, there'll be no place to put the microwave and the rice cooker. We don't have much counter space.

C:   那抽油煙機的效果就不明顯了，而且你還是個開放式廚房。

nà chōuyóuyānjī de xiàoguǒ jiù bù míngxiǎn le, érqiě nǐ hái shì ge kāifàngshì chúfáng.

Then the range hood will be less effective. And, you're doing an open-style kitchen.

B:   我們打算不用歐式的，買國產的，功率大。

wǒmen dǎsuàn bù yòng Oūshì de, mǎi guóchǎn de, gōnglǜ dà.

We're not planning on buying a European-style one. We're going to buy a domestically produced one. They're powerful.

C:   其實都差不多的。這樣吧，在吊廚的下面做個架子，電飯煲放在檯面上，微波爐就放在架子上。

qíshí dōu chàbuduō de. zhèyàng ba, zài diàochú de xiàmian zuò ge jiàzi, diànfànbāo fàng zài táimiàn shàng, wēibōlú jiù fàng zài jiàzi shàng.

Actually they're all pretty much the same. How about this, we'll put a shelf in under the cupboard. You can put the rice cooker on the counter and the microwave on the shelf.

B:   好辦法！還是你們有經驗。哦，對了，師傅，你看在餐廳這裡增加一個插座可以嗎？以後用電爐吃火鍋的話比較方便。

hǎo bànfǎ! háishì nǐmen yǒu jīngyàn. ò, duì le, shīfu, nǐ kàn zài cāntīng zhèlǐ zēngjiā yī ge chāzuò kěyǐ ma? yǐhòu yòng diànlú chī huǒguō dehuà bǐjiào fāngbiàn.

Hey, that's a good idea. You guys really are experienced. Oh, that's right. Sir, do you think we could add an outlet in the kitchen here? If we want use a hot plate to eat hot pot, it'll be pretty convenient.

C:   可以。現在還沒開始佈線。

Sure. The wiring hasn't started yet.

A:   我覺得不好，會影響餐廳的整體感覺。到時候接插線板就好了嘛。

I don't think that's a good idea. It will affect the overall feeling of the dining room. When we need to, we can just use a surge protector.

C:   這樣，我幫你們把插座裝在有窗戶的這面牆上，平時窗簾垂下來，插座也就看不到了。

How about this, I'll install the outlet on the wall with the window here. Usually the curtain will be hanging down and you won't be able to see the outlet.

B:   師傅，你可真有法子。

C:   那衛生間你們打算用連體馬桶還是分體的？

nà wèishēngjiān nǐmen dǎsuàn yòng liántǐ mǎtǒng háishi fēntǐ de?

In the bathroom, are you planning on using a connected toilet, or a separated one?

A:   連體的。

liántǐ de.

C:   那淋浴房的位置要改一下。因為連體馬桶長一點，淋浴房的門開起來會不方便。

nà línyùfáng de wèizhi yào gǎi yīxià. yīnwèi liántǐ mǎtǒng cháng yīdiǎn, línyùfáng de mén kāi qǐlái huì bù fāngbiàn.

Then we'll have to change the position of the shower room a bit. Because connected toilets are longer, opening the shower door might be a bit of a pain.

B:   好的，過會我們重新算一下淋浴房的尺寸。
