Do you think finding someone to love or having someone love you is more important?

dāngrán shì ài nǐ de lo. ài yī ge rén duō xīnkǔ a!
Of course it is having someone love you. Loving someone else is too hard!
A 你真自私。你不愛他，這叫愛情嗎？
nǐ zhēn zìsī. nǐ bù ài tā, zhè jiào àiqíng ma?
You are too self centered. If you don't love them, you call that love?
B 愛情本來就是自私的。再說，也不是不愛，而是多少的問題。愛情通常是付出越多，回報越少。
àiqíng běnlái jiùshì zìsī de. zàishuō, yě bù shì bù ài, érshì duōshǎo de wèntí. àiqíng tōngcháng shì fùchū yuè duō, huíbào yuè shǎo.
Of course love is selfish. Moreover, I'm not saying you shouldn't love, it's a matter of how much you love. Love typically means that the more you put in, the less you get out.
A 但是當你遇到了真愛，付出也是一種幸福。我的每一段感情都是全心全意地去愛。雖然受過傷害，但只要愛過，都是珍貴的經歷。
dànshì dāng nǐ yùdào le zhēn ài, fùchū yě shì yī zhǒng xìngfú. wǒ de měi yī duàn gǎnqíng dōu shì quánxīnquányì de qù ài. suīrán shòu guo shānghài, dàn zhǐyào ài guo, dōu shì zhēnguì de jīnglì.
But when you come across true love, putting effort into it brings a kind of happiness. I wholeheartedly put all my emotions into love. Although I've been hurt before, having experienced love is a very precious thing.
B 但是我覺得你越愛這個人，這個人就越不珍惜你。
dànshì wǒ juéde nǐ yuè ài zhège rén, zhège rén jiù yuè bù zhēnxī nǐ.
But I feel that the more you love somebody, the more they take you for granted.
A 哪有那麼絕對？我相信只要你真心地愛一個人，他也會愛你的。不過有時候我覺得情人要找自己愛的，結婚就要找愛自己的。這樣才會安定和幸福。
nǎyǒu nàme juéduì? wǒ xiāngxìn zhǐyào nǐ zhēnxīn de ài yī ge rén, tā yě huì ài nǐ de. bùguò yǒushíhou wǒ juéde qíngrén yào zhǎo zìjǐ ài de, jiéhūn jiùyào zhǎo ài zìjǐ de. zhèyàng cái huì āndìng hé xìngfú.
How can you make such a blanket statement? I believe that provided you truly love someone, they also will love you. However I think sometimes that lovers look for someone they love, but when people get married they look for someone that loves them. This is the only way to be content and happy.
B 瞧你，還不是和我一樣。可見還是被愛好。
qiáo nǐ, hái bù shì hé wǒ yīyàng. kějiàn hái shì bèi ài hǎo .
Look at you, you are just the same as me. You see, it's better to be loved.
A 但是一定要先真正愛一回，愛情是世界上最美妙的感覺。你難道沒有愛過人？
dànshì yīdìng yào xiān zhēnzhèng ài yī huí, àiqíng shì shìjiè shàng zuì měimiào de gǎnjué. nǐ nándào méiyǒu ài guo rén?
But certainly first find true love once. Love is the most beautiful feeling in the world. Is it really possible that you have never been in love before?

dāngrán ài guo lo. suǒyǐ wǒ cái tǐhuì dào ài yī ge rén de tòngkǔ. nǐ zǒngshì huì xiǎng duìfāng shì bu shì yě yīyàng ài nǐ, xiǎng nǐ. zǒngzhī, tèbié shòuzuì !
Of course i have been in love. So I understand the pain of loving someone. You are always wondering whether the other person loves you, desires you, as much. In short, loves bites!
A 你會這樣比較，就不是真愛。真愛是無私的，不會去計較誰付出多、誰付出少。享受愛的感覺才是最重要的。
nǐ huì zhèyàng bǐjiào, jiù bù shì zhēnài. zhēnài shì wúsī de, bùhuì qù jìjiào shéi fùchū duō , shéi fùchū shǎo. xiǎngshòu ài de gǎnjué cái shì zuì zhòngyào de.
If you make those kinds of comparisons, it's not true love. True love is unselfish. It is not about who puts forth more or less. Enjoying the feeling of love is the most important.
B 哎！你真是個自虐狂。
āi! nǐ zhēn shì ge zìnǜe kuáng.
Ah! You are really a sucker for punishment.
