Today is Saturday. It is Saturday morning. Lee and Pat are at home with Mommy, Daddy and Kim, their dog. The children do not go to school on Saturdays. Nobody from their school goes to school on Saturdays. They all stay at home or go out with their mommies and daddies.

Now, it is eleven o’clock on Saturday morning, and Uncle is going to Lee’s house He is going to get Lee, Pat, Mommy and Daddy. He’s going to take everybody to his new house for lunch. Everyone has to be at the house before twelve o’clock. Auntie is working to get lunch ready for twelve o’clock, so she wants everybody to be there in time to start lunch.

Pat is in her bedroom. She is getting ready to go to her auntie and uncle’s new house. She wants to be ready before Uncle comes. She doesn’t want Uncle to have to wait for her. She wants to be ready in time.

佩特在她的臥室裡，她在為去她的阿姨和叔叔的新房子做準備。她想在叔叔到來之前準備好，她不想讓叔叔等她，她想及時做好準備。

Lee is not in his bedroom. Lee is not getting ready yet. He is playing with some of his things in the garden. Later, he will go to his bedroom and get ready. Lee really likes to play in the garden. He thinks things that are outside the house are more interesting. He thinks the garden is much more interesting than the house. Lee would like to be a farmer. He would like to be a farmer because he thinks farms are really interesting.

Lee knows a lot about farms now. He knows a lot, but he does not know everything. Nobody knows everything, but he does know what all the farm animals are called. He knows the names of a lot of the fruit trees, too.

Lee

Is it? Is Uncle here yet?

Daddy

Yes, he is. He’s outside in his car waiting for you. Everybody is waiting for you!

Lee

All right. I’ll go and get my things from the bedroom.

Daddy

What things?

Lee

I have some things I want to show Auntie and Uncle. I want to take them to Auntie and Uncle’s house.

Daddy

All right. You go and get your things. We’ll wait for you outside in the car.

Lee

All right. Don’t go before I come out, will you?

Daddy

No, Lee. We won’t go before you come out. We will wait for you. Go on! Go to your bedroom and get your things!

Lee

All right. I’m going now. Are we going in Uncle’s old car or his new car?

Daddy

We’re going to go in his old car. His old car is not as good as his new car, but it’s all right. It’s good enough to take us to his house.

Lee

Is it? We don’t want to get there after twelve o’clock, do we? Auntie is getting everything ready for twelve o’clock. We have to be there before twelve o’clock. If we aren’t, lunch will be cold.

Daddy

That’s right, but we won’t be there before twelve o’clock if you don’t go and get your things now. Go on, Lee! Go! Go and get your things now!

爸爸

李，你準備好了嗎？該出發了！大家都準備好了。我們都在等你。快點！現在11點了！

李

是嗎？叔叔來了嗎？

爸爸

對，叔叔來了。他在外面，在他的車裡等你。大家都在等你！

李

好的，我去臥室拿我的東西。

爸爸

什麼東西？

李

我有些東西想給阿姨和叔叔看，我想帶去阿姨和叔叔的房子。

爸爸
