Now, it is Thursday. It is Thursday morning and the children are walking to school. They are not walking on the road. They are walking on the grass next to the road. The children don’t walk on the road because the road is for cars. That is why the children walk on the grass when they walk to school.

Pat will give those pink flowers to the teacher so the teacher can put them on her table in the front of the classroom.

That’s right. Today will be a very good day for me. I’m taking these beautiful pink flowers to give to the teacher. Then, after school, I’m going to go to the teacher’s house.

Lee

Really? What are you going to do there? Why are you going to go to the teacher’s house?

Pat

I’m going to go there so I can help the teacher in her garden.

Lee

Well, be careful not to walk on the teacher’s grass. The teacher doesn’t like it if people walk on her grass. The teacher wants us to be good when we are at her house. She doesn’t want us to do things that are bad for her garden.

Pat

I know. Our teacher wants everything in her garden to stay beautiful - the flowers, the grass… everything!

Lee

What time will you come home?

Pat

I’ll come home after we have dinner. The teacher is going to show me her new kitchen. Then we are going to make dinner together.

Lee

And then?

Pat

Then, we will eat dinner together. After that, we will speak a little and then I will come home.

Lee

When you get home, please come and see me so you can tell me about everything in the teacher’s house. And Pat?

Pat

What?

Lee

Please bring me a little of the food you and the teacher make for dinner.

今天是星期四,不是嗎?

佩特
