The teacher knows some of the people who work in the zoo. Some of those people are her friends. Those people know all about the animals in the zoo. The teacher says we can ask her friends any questions we want.
Pat
Good. We will have to ask them the names of some of the animals we don’t know yet.
Lee
And we will have to ask them how to spell some of the names. That’s because we will have to write about the zoo and the teacher wants our writing to be correct.
Pat
What about the word ‘zoo’. We will have to write that, too. Do you know how to spell ‘zoo’?
Lee
Yes, I do. It’s easy… ‘Z’… ‘O’…’O’…
Pat
Yes, I think that’s right. Yes, it is. That’s correct. It’s not a difficult word to spell, is it? Well, come on! It’s time to go to school. Let’s get our books and go to school.
