Past Simple Tense 一般過去時

e.g.

The children went to the shops.

They did not buy any milk.

Did they buy some rice?

I didn’t know that.

Present Continuous (for future use) 現在進行時（一般將來時）

e.g.

What time are we going (to go)?

We are going to go at eleven o’clock.

Short Past Tense Answers（過去時短語回答）

e.g.

Yes, they did.

No, they did not.

New Question Forms（提問的新形式）

Which… ?

Did… ?

Where did… ?

Why did… ?

Contractions（縮寫）

didn’t = did not

we’d = we would / we had

The shop’s closing. = The shop is closing.

The woman’s closing the door. = The woman is closing the door.

They weren’t expensive. = They were not expensive.
