The third time the police came for me, they asked about what had happened to the girl. To tell the truth, I was already fed up with them and refusing to cooperate. They took me back to the school; back to the lake. The moment I approached the lakeside, it seemed as though I could feel the same frigid feeling I had felt once before. I started to break loose and put up a fight. I used all the strength my body could muster and made a stand against the officer next to me.
突然，一隻手溫柔地放在我的肩上。

Suddenly, a hand gently came down upon my shoulder.

However, during the third month of us knowing each other, GaoJie was involved in a traffic accident at the school gate. I couldn't reconcile this sudden transformation of my sweet dreams of her, to this nightmare. I pushed open the door and ran out. Her appearance made it impossible for me to be near her. Even so, the sound of my pledge of my undying love to her continued to reverberate in my head. A mood of uncertainty began to torment me.

My head was filled with chaos and it felt like my cells were slowly eating away at my brain. More and more, I was losing control of myself. I grabbed her and pushed her into the lake.
